October Happenings in Napa Valley

Here are some great reasons to come spend some time in Napa this October! We found great events for you to attend; some include wine, some include pumpkins, and all include FUN.

Harvest Parties

Did you know that August through October is harvest season in Napa? That means winemakers and vineyard workers quickly pick grapes at their peak ripeness so that they can begin the process of becoming wine! For a small cost you can purchase tickets to harvest parties held at wineries across Napa Valley. Most events serve food, host concerts, and of course, give you multiple different wines to taste.

Oktoberfest

Take a step away from wine to indulge in some beer! Oktoberfest festivities date back to the early 1800’s, but the festival we recognize today actually only reaches back to the 1960’s. What started as a celebration of a royal marriage has turned into a celebration of the arrival of autumn. Regardless of the reason, Oktoberfest is always celebrated with refreshing beer and delicious food, and you can get a taste of that for yourself in Napa!
