It’s that time of year again when Napa bustles during its annual harvest as workers rush to pick grapes at their peak ripeness.
Some wineries are taking crush season to fun new levels this year, offering unique experiences like day-in-the-life vineyard tours and grape-stomping sessions so that can get an opportunity chance to witness the wine magic in action!
Check out the following events taking place around Napa Valley this fall. Also, please note that while Napa Valley is currently completely open to visitors, many wineries are still operating by appointment only, so be sure to plan ahead.
Bottle Blending Day Camp

When: All of harvest season

Winemaker for a Day
Where: Raymond Vineyards
When: Every Wednesday-Monday
What: Channel your inner winemaker by learning how to make your own custom blend then fill, cork, and dress bottles with your personal label—before taking it back home to enjoy!
Hands-On Harvest
Where: Trefethen
When: September 25th

The Great Grape Stomp
Where: Conn Creek Winery
When: October 24th
What: Create your own “I Love Lucy” moment by hopping into a giant barrel and stomping on grapes followed by enjoying copious amounts of wine plus harvest-inspired foods.
Fun Tip: You could also try creating your own grape stomp!
